I have the following items available off of a Yanmar 3JH2E (Island Packet 37).  The engine was lost due to a piston rod being thrown through the engine block at about 4200 hours.

Starter

Fresh water pump

Transmission

I have photos available upon request--- I am asking 50% of new price for the parts.

Wendy,
Do you know the new prices? How is the new engine doing. Which one did you end up going with?
Bob

I am calling on Bay Shore Marine for the new prices- contact me off-line and I will give them to you-

I am going with the Yanmar 3JH5E.  It is the closest fit for the space.  Turns out it was the 2nd cylinder piston rod that broke- 1st and 3rd cylinders were fine.  My mechanic has a theory as to how water might have backed into the cylinder while under sail.  To make a long story short, he is relocating the engine's anti-syphon valve where it is much less likely to be below the waterline in a heeling situation and lowering the position of and installing a larger waterlock muffler.

I have a price for the transmission and water pump.  Also, eventually, I will be selling the injector pump and exhaust manifold and heat exchanger- right now the insurance investigator wanted me to leave those on the engine.

Wendy, could you give me some prices please?  I have a IP37 in Deale MD and might be interested in some backups.  Is the generator orginal?  Thanks for the info.
