I'm a new IP440 owner and new to this site, which I think is extremely helpful and well run. I occasionally see references to articles and threads on Sailnet. Is there a difference between the two sites? Should I monitor both sites?
Thanks-
Randy

Sailnet did have a fairly good user forum but they shut it down about a year ago.

:?

Sailnet still has forums.

http://www.sailnet.com/forums/island-packet/

The last post was in June so they might as well shut it down. :D

Yes they do but the manner in which the shut down the old list and the way it evolved was pretty crummy.  Think that most folks no longer use the Sailnet Forums.  I know I don't and I don't even check them occasionally.

I use this site for boat specific

I use "sailnet" and "cruisers form" for general knowledge and sailing information  I also find the other ones listed very helpful also. I cant get to much info. I find them all interesting.

The SSCA is very good with cruising knowledge.
