We would like to buy an IP380 or 40, in good condition, privately owned and never used for charter. Preferably cruising ready & lying in Europe as we are based in the UK and there seem to be problems (including a hefty 15% VAT charge) when importing from the USA.
Up to £135,000 cash available. (222,800 US dollars at current exchange rates)
If you want to wait a while we would seriously consider selling CYAN 380-058 in Europe in mid 2011. We are in Malaysia now and we well maintain this ultra equipped boat...more stuff than any other on we have seen. We have never been thru weather to compromise the boat and we just polished the gelcoat and everyone thinks it's a new boat. Top condition....have 6 month old survey valuing it at $270,000. We would consider the range you mention tho to change lifestyles.
Absolutely everything about us in on the below website.
Email address is available too...check profile. We will spend some time here traveling and expect to be in Turkey for the EEYR in Spring of 2011

Although you are based in the UK perhaps you might consider buying a boat in the Caribbean and having it based there or sail her back to the UK.
We find the weather and sailing in the Caribbean are are much better than in more northern latitudes. If you interested "Mal de Mer" IP-40 hull #99 is for sale. She has been hauled every year during the off-season and professionally maintained and the latest survey rated her in “Above Average Condition”. Since buying her new in 1998 we cruised the Bahamas and Florida for 6 years before sailing her to the Caribbean. We have enjoyed many happy days aboard Mal de Mer but because of our age, 79, we are facing the dreadful day when we have to give her up. We are currently planning to sail her back, over the next 5 months, from Grenada, which has been our base for the past 7 years, to Palmetto, Florida. If you are interested full details are available on sailboatlistings.com. If you wanted to sail her back to the UK we could share the VAT if that is a problem.
